MONO PRINTERS (Black and white)
Buy the original manufacturer's consumables, especially toners, if you want a hassle free life and you can afford the luxury. However there are many companies out there whose business is providing excellent quality toners at a very significant cost saving over the lifetime of that printer. The trick is to know which toner 'remanufacturer' provides you with an excellent quality product and which one short change you in terms of failed cartridges or lower volume (contents) in the cartridge.
The easiest solution is to buy from us at Bristolprinters Ltd ! We've 20 years experience in printer technology and it is not in our interest to sell toners that reflect badly on our reputation. We are also extremely keenly priced and even with our excellent toners we still manage to beat the price on the many 'rubbish' toners that are flooding the marketplace.
COLOUR PRINTERS
As regards 'colour' toners, it is not our experience that 'remanufactured' cartridges are sufficently developed technology-wise to recommend you use these. We recommend you use the original equipment manufacturer's toners.
Remember that colour printers are extremely sophisticated devices and comparatively expensive to repair - you don't therefore want to compound this fact with faults induced by using cheap toner cartridges.
Other consumables such as maintenance kits are a necessary expense after variable page-count usages on different printers.
