LARGE FORMAT BUSINESS INKJET PRINTER REPAIRS

NOTE : We do not repair home/domestic inkjet printers due to the relative costs of time and materials versus replacement.

We do however repair large format business inkjet printers most of whom are capable of A3 format as well as A4 etc. These can print hugely impressive photos if you feed them quality gloss paper but at a cost. A single A4 sheet can soak up a huge amount of ink from your expensive cartridges. Not only this but many now have probably TWO cyan and TWO magenta cartridges in addition to the yellow and black cartridges. Aaaaagh! Choose non photo carts if you can and get used to quickly flicking into the 'printer preferences' and clicking the button for 'image and text' or even 'draft' instead of 'photo' to save significant amounts of expensive inks. But PLEASE don't use cheap refilled look-alike carts - it is false economy as it will eventually block up the printheads which are separate from the ink carts. Just our opinion!

Also it is our opinion that HP is still probably the best option, in their specific products where they have separate printheads and ink cartridges. In many other manufacturers' printers the printheads are not easily removable and are uneconomic to work on for replacement. With specific HP models, if a printhead fails, it is removable very quickly and this saves time and money and is better for the environment rather than junking a complete printer.
